
In her previous life, Tina worked in the human resources/administration field for a prominent steel corporation. She is a published writer, photographer, and travel blogger. She has worked in the education field since 2006 and joined KDCC in 2019 as the Curriculum Specialist. Tina has an AS in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech, a BS in Early Education from Purdue University, and is a PD Specialist for Preschool Age for the Council of Professional Recognition. Tina is also currently obtaining an Infant/Toddler Endorsement and working towards a Masters in Leadership.
Tina is a member of the Thrive by 5 Coalition and the Northeast Indiana Regional Coalition. She is originally from California, but was raised and graduated high school in Albion, where she currently lives. She has worked in parochial, inner city, and public schools - teaching preschool, Kindergarten, and Third Grade; and has worked for two Head Start programs in Indiana. She has also coached youth sports for 20 years.
Our kitchen manager, Mr. Josh, is Tina's significant other. Together, they run a family farm where they raise rabbits, chickens, ducks, pigs, and have three dogs: Pepper, Ghost, and Dasha. They also have three children: Rhett (and his wife Danielle), Claudea (and her significant other, Korbin), and Delia - a KDCC PK teacher (and her significant other, Austin).
Miss Tina absolutely adores children! She is always seeking to observe, reflect, and grow from children and peers in the education field and is a lifelong learner! She truly feels every child is a gift and has a story to tell, and that each unique person has an important contribution to our society!

She is originally from southern West Virginia and moved to Kendallville several years ago, where she currently resides with her husband, Walt.

Kim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She has worked with children in many different settings, including holding the position of director at a licensed child care center, teaching preschool, teaching children’s Bible classes, counseling at summer camp, and spending time with her many cousins, nieces and nephews. Kim loves getting to know each of the children who join her classroom and looks to find each child’s individual personality. Her favorite subjects in school were Math and Science. In her free time, Kim enjoys curling up and reading a good book. The biggest thing she strives to instill in children is to BE KIND, SHOW RESPECT, and GIVE LOVE.

Rana is leaning into the medical field and, beginning in the fall of 2024, began attending Nursing School at Ivy Tech Community College. She has lived in Kendallville all her life. She is the fourth child of five. Her parents migrated from Yemen to the US more than 20 years ago and without them she wouldn’t have accomplished all she has.

Miss Reilly is a graduate of Central Noble High School. She helps in our PK1 room. She oldst of six kids, she has five little brothers and one little sister. Rielly plans to go to school to become a dental assistant for children. She participated in cheer for six years and, during that time, also helped kids in cheer.
